To follow the ever evolving computer field the former class known simply as CISCO (based on the CISCO certification that was being offered) has now added a myriad of other Certifications across a wide range of computer disciplines, and transforming itself into the Computer Networking & Security (CNS) program.
This major step has changed the face and structure of an already cutting edge class and catapulted it to the forefront of industry needs.
This program offers the unique ability to prepare you for certification in up to five nationally recognized information Technology disciplines. CompTIA A+, Server+, Linux+, Networking+ & Security+. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is also offered.
The Computer Networking & Security (CNS) program also offers a wide range of hands-on exposure in a large educational setting that will show students the fundamentals of documentation and support skills.
The program is divided into two class years of curriculum but is not limited to both.First Year
A+ Essentials & IT Technician: The A+ certification tests users' knowledge of hardware and operating systems installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Server+ : The A+ certification tests users' knowledge of hardware and operating systems installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Linux+ : Become an expert installing, operating, and troubleshooting Linux operating systems through the CompTIA Linux+ certification.
Second Year
Network+ : Enhance your technical abilities in network administration and support, and further your skills and training in media, protocols and standards, network implementation, and network management.
